 Everything You Need to Know About what happened to the soldiers in Kubwa – Bwari Area of Federal Capital Territory on Sunday.

 According to an eyewitness who requested anonymity, said “they have been guarding one Law School along Kubwa – Bwari road for over two weeks now. According to him the school received letter from bandits that they were coming to attack them soon. The moment the school received the letter they informed the soldiers”.

He said “immediately they were deployed to the school, and they have been there for several days before the attack took place on Sunday. Before that, he said the soldiers were contemplating that the terrorists might be planning to attack another place in order to divert their attention”. 

Our source said that they looked for another prominent place they may possibly try to attack. That was when they remembered one private University 2.3km away from the Law school. So they sent some soldiers to the University to create all round defenses. 

He furthermore said, they normally usually noticed some flash light in the bush at night, so they decided to go inside the bush to know what was happening, that was when they discovered that the bandits were there. He said that they had seen traces of smoking, killing goats to eat, and some hard drugs they had used.

According to him they immediately call for backup and ask them to bring more reinforcement, trucks and riffles. They advanced to the bush searching for the terrorists. When they got to a particular place where there are rocks and water, they decided to park their trucks, and walked into the bush with their AK 47.

 

He said the moment they went deep into the bush, the bandits had already seen them coming, without them noticing, that was when they have some casualty and the bandits engaged them from left and right fully prepared and lay down ambush for them and penetrate.

According to him 3 units were sent for the operation. He said, he lost four soldiers from his own unit. Each soldiers from the remaining units. 4 soldiers were killed in total. He said, they succeeded in killing a lieutenant, two soldiers, and one captain.

Finally, he said they managed to kill 12 terrorists, although many soldiers were injured and he was among them, and they were admitted in General Hospital. He also said they finally engage them around chase after, to the extent that they dislodge them from the bush.
